Main duties: organizes and conducts monitoring and research programmes on Aldabra’s terrestrial and marine fauna and flora and invasive species; data entry and checking to the highest standard according to existing protocols, with high accuracy, coverage and attention to detail. Compiles information, basic analysis and writes reports; assists with maintenance and upkeep of field camps, trails, scientific transects and other science and conservation related programmes needed in the field; leads guided tours; assists researchers; writes facebook posts and articles; enforces SIF policies; etc.
Minimum entry requirement: Post-Secondary graduates with A- level in Biology, Geography and /or science subjects and /or at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in a relevant field. Preferable boat handling skills. Only Seychellois are eligible to apply.
