SIF's Research Symposium

Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) held a free public symposium to showcase their latest research and conservation projects on Tuesday 14 May 2019. The event took place at the STC Conference Room, Latanier Road, Mahé, between 8.30am and 4pm.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of presentations from esteemed scientists and collaborators at SIF who were eager to share their findings from Seychelles’ UNESCO World Heritage sites, Vallée de Mai and Aldabra. The presentations covered a wide variety of fascinating topics such as the secrets of the Coco de Mer, the world’s first eradication of the ring-necked parakeets on Mahé and the Aldabra clean-up project.
